Acquisitions strengthen TricorBraun’s presence in beverage packaging market
ST. LOUIS, January 6, 2022 / CNW / – Global packaging leader TricorBraun today announced the acquisition of beverage packaging leaders Zuckerman Honickman (ZH) and Vessel Packaging (Vessel), further strengthening the company’s position on the beverage packaging market.

All members of the ZH and Vessel team, including the president of ZH Michael zuckerman, SVP of Strategy and Development Lorne Paskin and VP of Operations Jon zuckerman, and CEO of ship packaging Matt Leslie and COO Mitchell Evanecz — will stay with TricorBraun. The businesses will operate as separate, stand-alone businesses, and the teams will continue to work from their existing locations. Effective immediately, the companies will be known as Zuckerman Honickman, a TricorBraun Company, and Vessel Packaging, a TricorBraun Company.

With the acquisition of ZH, TricorBraun expands its beverage offering and significantly expands its expertise in sustainable beverages and packaging. As part of the deal, TricorBraun also acquired Delta Industries, a subsidiary of ZH and a distributor of reusable sprayers and trigger bottles.
First Canadian value-added distributor of aluminum cans
Since its founding in 2013 as a mobile canning company to serve that of British Columbia craft brewers, Vessel has grown into a one-stop-shop for aluminum cans, offering everything from mobile canning and design services to printed cans, can tips and holders, shrink sleeves and other labeling services. The company serves all major beverage end markets including beer, wine, cider, kombucha, coffee, sparkling water and ready-to-drink (RTD). The ship has a national footprint with five locations across Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Mississauga, Ottawa, and Montreal), and serves customers throughout Canada and the United States.

Financial details of the deals were not disclosed. JP Morgan Securities LLC has been the exclusive financial advisor to Zuckerman Honickman. KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to Vessel.
