Boat stolen from Nanaimo Tennis Club

Aluminum boat, outboard motors and trailer from the Westwood Tennis Club





Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a boat that was stolen in late September from the grounds of the tennis club.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, the boat was stolen between September 26 and 28 from the Westwood Tennis Club on Arbot Road.

The boat is a 15ft flat bottom with an aluminum hull and black stripe. The ship is quite old and has no mark on it. Attached to the boat is a 115 horsepower Suzuki outboard motor with a jet drive and an eight horsepower Mercury engine. The vessel number is BC5692609 and the hull number is AW3101016484.

On board were a barbecue, two oars, a 2,000 watt generator and three or four personal flotation devices.

At the time of the theft, the boat was on a Roadrunner trailer bearing British Columbia license plate WCM 14P.
