The new touring vessel incorporates Teknicraft Design’s signature symmetrical and asymmetrical combined hull form, a bow wave piercer and a patented hydrofoil assisted hull design. The hull and hull components are designed to break up wave action and provide reduced drag while improving passenger comfort.

Teknicraft’s hydrofoil-assisted hull design is proven to deliver industry-leading, low-wake wash energy and fuel economy. Main leaf action reduces power required to maintain service speed; therefore, fuel consumption and running costs are significantly reduced, while further improving the smoothness of the ride, especially in rough seas.

The hydrofoil system consists of the main foil spanning the tunnel at keel level, forward of the center of gravity position and two cantilever-type aft foils. The lift produced by the hydrofoil reduces hull resistance, while increasing speed and carrying capacity.

“All American Marine is committed to creating a long-term win-win situation for each of our customers. We strive to ensure the success of their operations by building quality boats at a fair price and supporting our customers when needed” said Ron Wille Ron Wille, All American Marine President and COO. “We are excited to add to the fleet of 26 Glaciers and provide a superior passenger experience to their customers for years to come.”

The hull shape was custom designed using Teknicraft’s numerical modeling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis tests. The vessel’s design provides all passengers and crew with a smooth ride and optimum comfort, as the unique hull provides a cushioned effect when encountering the waves.

For the operator, a valuable feature of this vessel is the excellent fuel economy while maintaining an estimated fully loaded cruising speed of 32 knots.

Aboard the ship, passengers can bask in the spacious comfort of 150 fully enclosed seats with tables between two decks with double-glazed windows, as well as outdoor seating and standing room for nature viewing.

The interior fittings include Beurteaux seats and electrical outlets with USB sockets at each table. The entire main deck, including the bow, is wheelchair accessible and the main deck cabin has wheelchair-friendly seating. Passengers can also enjoy refreshments from a full galley and bar in the main deck cabin.
